The 61st Annual New Jersey Governor’s Cup Regatta
June 18 and 19, 2011

Rules
The regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing for 2009-2012, prescription
of the US Sailing Association, rules of the individual National Class Associations and
the current Riverton Yacht Club Sailing Instructions as posted on the RYC website at
the time of the regatta.

Entries
To be sailed in STARS, MARINERS, J-22’s, LIGHTNING’s and PHRF Boats

Fees
Registration $30 per boat, less $3 with a valid US Sailing member card
Party and the Barbeque $35 per person / Children’s Menu $10
Party Only $12 / Under 21 or barbeque only $25 per person

Racing
5 races are scheduled; one race will constitute a regatta. There will be NO throw-outs.

Schedule

Saturday June 18th
8:45 until 10:00 AM	registration with Coffee and Donuts
10:00 AM	Skippers Meeting
10:50 AM	1st warning signal Up to 4 races maybe sailed; last start at 2:30pm
After racing Join us at the Keg on the pier
6:00 until 10:00 PM	Party & Barbeque
Sunday June 19th
10:20 AM	1st Warning Signal. Up to 2 races for a total of 5 races for the Regatta Last start at 2:00 pm

Barbeque & Party
Time: 6:00 until 10:00 PM Party & Barbeque with live music
Location: On the lawn in front of the club
Open to all sailors, RYC members and guests
Barbeque Ribs & Chicken, baked beans and potatoes, salads & desert
Lemonade and Iced Tea with dinner
Children’s Menu Mac & Cheese Hot Dogs
Beer, Wine, Margaritas

Awards
Trophies: 3 deep for 7 boats, 2 deep for 5 boats, 1 deep for 3 boats
Keeper Trophy for the 2010 New Jersey Governor’s CUP
Party with us at the Awards Ceremony after Sunday’s races

Accommodations
Limited accommodations maybe available in homes of RYC members for crews that
register early.

Excellent accommodations can be had at The River Line Inn,
204 Broad Street, Riverton - 5 minutes from Riverton Yacht Club
